On May 24, 2021, Liberty Landing received a Smart Growth Award from Vision Long Island, a nonprofit agency that promotes more livable, economically sustainable and environmentally responsible growth on Long Island.  Located in Lake Ronkonkoma, Liberty Landing was completed in 2016.  It is Concern’s second Veterans Program, with thirty units set aside for Veterans.  The remaining apartment are affordable for households at or below 50% of the Area Median Income.

The location includes a collection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in a beautiful townhome-type community.  An on-site Community Center boasts a community room, exercise room, computer room, and staff offices.    The grounds include a basketball court, bocce courts, community gardent, and seating areas.  Residents have their choice of two laundry facilities located on site.

The area immediately surrounding this development has a mix of uses, including residential, commercial, and office.  Public transportation is readily available, with multiple bus lines serving the area.  The project site is located on a major corridor running through Lake Ronkonkoma and is located near schools, grocery stores, restaurants, health facilities and retail stores/shopping.
