Instructions for Internet Explorer Version 6 users

There are several settings you will only have to set up once to make sure the VPN works correctly.

Pop-up blocker

Pop-Up Blockers will interfere with the VPN and Precision Care. There is a pop-up blocker built into Internet Explorer that instructions are provided for below. Keep in mind if you have installed another pop-up blocker, such as Yahoo or Google Toolbar, these will have to be modified also.

You have two options. You can turn off the Pop-Up blocker entirely (Easier) or just modify the settings to not block on certain pages (Safer).

1) To Turn off the Pop-Up Blocker Entirely, Click on the Tools/Pop-Up Blocker/Turn-Off Pop-Up Blocker menu item. Skip to the Trusted Site Section

2) a) To just allow Pop-Ups on the Concern sites, do the following:

Click on Tools/Pop-Up Blocker/Pop-Up Blocker Settings

Enter the address: concernhousing.net and click “Add”, then Click “Close”.

Trusted Site Settings

To allow Internet Explorer to trust the Concern VPN, please perform the following:

1. In Internet Explorer go to the “Tools” menu

2. Scroll Down and Select “Internet Options”

3. Click the “Security” tab.

4. Click on “Trusted Sites”

5. Click on “Sites”

6. Type https://vpn.concernhousing.net/ into the bar below “Add this Website to the zone:” and click “Add” and then “Close”.

7. Click “Ok” on the Internet Options screen.
